An award-winning and passionate dentist, Dr. Daren has spent over 25 years providing personalized and comprehensive family dentistry to patients in her community. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Connecticut Dental Association, and the New London County Dental Society. Presently, she is chairperson of the New London County Dental Peer Review Committee. She stays current on dental trends by attending numerous continuing education courses each year and remains actively involved in her community as a volunteer at the New London Community Meal Center.
Dr. Mastrota grew up in Long Island, New York, and has spent many summers in Stonington, CT sailing and visiting her son who was stationed at the Naval Base in Groton. Dr. Stephanie Mastrota received her BS in Biology in 1983 from Villanova University where she realized that dentistry was the perfect combination of art and science. She completed her Doctor of Dental Medicine in 1987 at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. In 2011 Dr. Mastrota was recruited by her son and joined the United States Naval Reserve as a Lieutenant.
